Roy

Roy was left behind at a house for 4 weeks. He was emaciated when we found him. We are so happy to report that he now has an amazing loving home!

I can’t thank you ENOUGH for saving this boy and putting him in my life! He has the BEST personality!
I’ve attached a few pictures...

Captain

Captain is an amazing 3 year old Golden Retriever who had it hard for a while earlier this year. His previous owner ran him over by accident and was unable to pay to have him fixed. He suffered a broken femur and was left for 7 weeks until we stepped in and took responsibility for the dog. He had his leg fixed about 8 weeks ago and is doing great. He never once got down in the dumps or felt sorry for himself.

Miss Molly

Due to a change in our family dynamics...I was on a hunt for a new family dog for me and the kids and also a friend for me since I am now a single parent. I was looking for another Staffordshire Bull Terrier...and found Molly on petfinder.com..made a phone call and got to meet Molly the same day.

Barney

Barney was found dumped on 40 acres. He was so very very sweet and just wanted to be loved. His wish finally came true!

On March 2011 Barney found a wonderful family and has gone to his forever home.

Chelsea

Chelsea and her litter mates were found abandoned behind the Painted Earth store in Menifee. They were all very scared when first caught but have come leaps and bounds and are now very sweet and are becoming more open to being loved. They have both found forever homes!

Founded in 1976, the Menifee Valley Humane Society is an all volunteer animal welfare organization that is dependent on the good will and talents of our friends and volunteers. Our focus is to promote community education on responsible pet care and ownership, which is a lifetime commitment--for the life of the pet. Through education, it is our hope that both children and adults will learn the importance of responsible pet care, including spaying and neutering to help solve the problem of pet overpopulation.

Here is an important fact from the Humane Society of the United States:

"Every time a person is born in America, so are 15 dogs and 45 cats, too many for the number of available homes."

This illustrates the magnitude of the pet overpopulation crisis. It is also important to be aware of the fact that many homeless dogs and cats end up in shelters and are killed. Everyone must do their part by spaying and/or neutering their pet! By working together, we can help reduce pet overpopulation and save lives!

Please note: Since we have no shelter or facility, any animals we rescue and/or take in are cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

The Menifee Valley Humane Society is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
